Lesli & John had a beautiful wedding at Lesli’s parents home just outside of downtown Nashville. Whether the ceremony would actually be held outdoors was questionable up to the scheduled ceremony start time. We were all watching the weather radar to see if there would be a break in the precipitation that would last long enough for their ceremony. This suspense had us all on edge, but as the clouds broke – right at the start time – Lesli and John’s friends and family rallied together to wipe down the chairs and prepare for the wedding Lesli had dreamed of – a late afternoon outdoor ceremony!
Here is how the ceremony site looked prior to clearing up. Though it was raining, I have to say I think the grounds looked beautiful in this foggy mist tucked in and around the hills and trees.
The details were gorgeous and Kristin Kaplan with Simply Stunning Events made sure everything was in its place and that the background was perfectly set for an intimate ceremony and reception. Just beautiful!
The rain held off long enough to get some really fun and beautiful shots of Lesli and John. I love the interaction between these two. They are so much fun!
I think my favorite images of the day are from the ceremony. Didn’t it turn out to be just the perfect setting? You would never know rain was coming down in buckets just moments before!
